Thelma and Louise

A road trip through California cannot be done in a ‘casual’ car, I find. So to drive from LA to San Fransisco and back, we initially planned to rent a Mustang. I love Mustangs, but then we saw a great offer at Hertz for a Toyota Solara, a cabriolet with all the luxoury you can wish for. The decision was made within seconds, the visa card charged the next minute. As it was very hot in California, up to 113 Fahrenheit some days, most enjoyable driving cabrio was in the early evening when it started cooling down a bit. One day I’d love to own a car like this, even if I will live in rainy Belgium. I think I should start saving money...
